The Banquet Server plays a vital role in the overall presentation and execution of food and event services at Livy O’s Catering Service. As the first impression at all banquet events, the Banquet Server must always reflect professionalism, excellent customer service, and attention to detail. This position requires a strong commitment to upholding Livy O’s policies and procedures to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up banquet event spaces according to client specifications, including table arrangements, linens, and service stations.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally while ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the event.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of events, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly stored.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the event team to execute a smooth and successful event.
  • Represent Livy O’s Catering Service with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

  • Previous banquet or catering experience preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including signature cocktails and specialty drinks.

  • Set up and break down bar stations efficiently and according to event requirements.

Job Summary:

Livy O’s Culinary Service Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef Food Service Attendant to assist with food menu creation, cook and prepare culinary meals for catering and weekly site meals, and training and development. This role is responsible for all aspects of daily meal preparation, meal service performance, and the serving of food and beverages. The ideal candidate must maintain food safety and sanitation standards while fostering a collaborative and educational kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with meal menu planning and development, including new recipe creation and taste-testing events with faculty and students.
  • Host culinary education classes and assist in training and development programs for staff and interns.
  • Responsible for meal preparation, cooking, plating, and food presentation for daily meal service.
  • Ensure high-quality meal service performance and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain and complete accurate Food Service Department Documentation, including but not limited to:
    National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and Food Safety Logs
    Production Records
    Meal Pattern Signage
    Nutrition Facts Information
    CN Labels
    Point of Sale Software
  • Work collaboratively with other Service Attendants & Interns in the food service production center.
  • Coordinate closely with Fleet & Warehouse Transporters for efficient meal transport to all new and existing facilities.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all food service items, including food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper maintenance of all kitchen equipment.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain compliance with Food Safety and Kitchen Safety standards daily.
  • Participate in quarterly compliance, safety, and meal service training and meet the USDA Professional Standards by attending at least 10 hours of training per quarter.
  • Maintain strong communication with peers, management, and stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Culinary certification or equivalent experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
  • Experience with meal planning, food preparation, and kitchen equipment maintenance.

Job description

Livy O's Culinary Service Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sales Administrator Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in event coordination, office administration, meal service operations, and will provide support to our sales and event teams to ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day business activities. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to coordinate client interactions, maintain accurate records, assist in meal service arrangements, and contribute to the growth and success of the Livy O's company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies.
  • Establish and build professional relationships with internal and external customers, introduce company capabilities to prospective customers, and craft proposals based on customer needs.
  • Assist the sales team with client inquiries, proposals, contracts, and event planning documentation.
  • Be the expert in coordinating events from first impression to event execution including knowledge of Livy O’s catering and wedding menu.
  • Event Banquet Lead for a minimum of 2 events per month but not limited to only 2 events.
  • Coordinate logistics and communicate with vendors, clients, and team members to ensure successful event execution.
  • Manage office operations, including scheduling site visits with clients, phone and email correspondences, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of orders, invoices, and customer data within the company’s CRM system.
  • Track and report sales data, progress toward targets, and key performance metrics.
  • Provide administrative support for meal service programs, including processing orders and coordinating deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Assist in coordinating operational details, including meal service planning, client communications, sales administration.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, operations, and clients to ensure event needs are met amongst departments.
  • Prepare and process event documentation, contracts, and client inquiries.
  • Maintain client database and update relevant sales information to include event documentation, contracts, and client lead funnels.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing reports, presentations, and client proposals.
  • Assist in managing inventory and ensuring that food and beverage supplies are available for upcoming company events.
  • Handle client calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with the preparation, delivery, and setup of meal services at events and contracted meal service clients.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in event coordination, office administration, or meal service management, preferably in a catering or culinary environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive demeanor in client-facing situations.
  • A passion for food, events, and excellent customer service.

  • MUST provide their own uniform, which consists of business-casual attire in various coordinates of black, fuchsia pink, white, and grey (the Livy O’s brand colors).

  • Knowledge of food service restaurant industry standards and regulations is a plus.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in administrative support, event coordination, or similar roles.
