Ryann Halo’s journey to success is a testament to resilience and determination. Overcoming the challenges of an unstable upbringing, she defied the odds, becoming the youngest student at the Paul Mitchell School of Tampa at just 16 years old. At the young age of 21, Ryann and her grandmother pooled their resources to acquire a Spring Hill Hair Salon from her aunt, laying the foundation for Salon Halo in June 2011. With dedicated community engagement and an innovative operational approach, the salon expanded to include the Carrollwood and South Tampa locations nearly a decade later. Today, Salon Halo stands as a multimillion-dollar enterprise and ranks among the top 200 salons in North America.

Impressed by Livy O’s culinary finesse at various events, a friendship quickly flourished, leading to Livy O’s catering not only Salon Halo’s Christmas parties but also events for Ryann’s family.

Lunch on the Lake @ Cristo Rey High School
Striving to elevate the school lunch experience at Cristo Rey High School, Livy O’s collaborated with the newly established Student Council to debut the exciting “Lunch on the Lake” event. Complete with a DJ, photo booth, barbecue, and games, the event provided students with an opportunity to delve into the hospitality realm while injecting a delightful twist into their regular lunch routine.

While servicing the plated banquet for the HCSO Black Community Relations Committee Awards Gala at the Egypt Shrine Center, Sebastian, Justin, Omar II, and Dwight, were recognized onstage to express gratitude for their diligent efforts behind the scenes.
CEO Council of Tampa Bay: Havana Nights
You had to be there: the CEO Council of Tampa Bay’s Havana Nights Social was a fun-filled networking event with live music, dancers, and an out-of-this-world mojo pork spread and bar catered by Livy O’s. We also want to thank Carrie Charles for being such a fantastic host!
Livy O’s Superhero Spotlight: Shangrala “Lala” Wood
Livy O’s proudly recognizes Shangrala “Lala” Wood as the November Employee of the Month. Since joining in August 2022, Lala has demonstrated exceptional versatility and dedication by seamlessly taking on various roles across all departments, such as café manager, assisting in both the catering and meal service kitchens, delivery driver, sales, and banquet service.
She finds joy in the dynamic interactions and continuous learning opportunities at Livy O’s, attributing her personal growth to the supportive team environment. Lala’s infectious enthusiasm extends to her love for every item on the menu, reflecting her genuine passion for the culinary experience.
