Planned Parenthood: Employee Appreciation Day
Last month, we had the privilege of organizing a special lunch for Planned Parenthood’s Employee Appreciation Day at the Regent. The event took on a relaxed, carnival-like atmosphere, featuring treats and activities like jewelry making and henna tattoos. The day also included a modest award ceremony, with Planned Parenthood staff contributing to the buffet service for their fellow colleagues. It was a pleasant and collaborative celebration that added a touch of camaraderie to the workday.
Metropolitan Ministries
Similarly, last month marked Metropolitan Ministries’ Employee Appreciation Day, where we had the honor of catering dinner for a gathering of over 200 employees. The evening unfolded in a warm and appreciative atmosphere, reflecting the organization’s commitment to acknowledging and thanking its dedicated staff. It was a simple yet meaningful event, fostering a sense of gratitude and connection among the Metropolitan Ministries team.

Omar Germany II, the dynamic force behind Livy O’s, has been named Employee of the Month, showcasing a remarkable dedication to the company at just 16 years old. Omar’s journey with Livy O’s began as a youth attending the Culinary Club, where he ignited his passion for the culinary arts. Transitioning seamlessly into various roles as a prep cook, warehouse specialist, and banquet server, Omar’s versatility and commitment have been exceptional. Despite honing his culinary skills over the past few years, Omar’s true passion lies in football, aspiring to become a professional player. Nonetheless, he harbors hopes of one day inheriting the family business, embodying a spirit of continuity and commitment to Livy O’s legacy. Omar Germany II stands as a testament to the company’s values of dedication, growth, and familial pride.
